Nucleus ry is the organization of biotechnological engineering and food development students at the University of Turku. We have about 200 members and we are one of the six engineering students’ organizations in Turku. Part of Nucleus’ function is to represent students in study issues and relay students’ opinions to the department. Nucleus also organizes leisure-time activities such as sports, culture and parties to its members. Because of our small size many of our happenings are with other student organizations in Turku. We have also close connections to other biotechnological engineering students’ organizations with whom we have a common annual happening RekomBIOnaatio.
